Dead Sea Figure The ancient statue was discovered in the Dead Sea (the lowest sea on the earth). This mystical statue is one of two statues that are called the "bronzes of Riacci" and both were found at the same underwater excavation site after having been sunk in the ocean for many centuries. Thankfully those sunken treasures were not lost forever in the Dead Sea. The figure of the ancient "Riacci" statue seems to have an almost cocky posture as witnessed in the tilt of the hips.
