L Hebe Hebe, the Greek goddess of youth was originally sculpted by Bertel Thorwaldsen (1768-1844) and is on display at the Thorwaldsen Museum in Copenhagen. Thorwaldsen was renowned for the renderings of mythological figures. Hebe was the official cup bearer of the Olympian gods and personified the eternal goddess of beauty and youth. Her powers of rejuvenation were believed to restore youth.
